Today was a bank holiday in Ireland, but I had a primary shift. So I stayed home and worked the whole day. But that’s fine because I can take another day off later using this TOIL.

I prepared a detailed architecture diagram for my project. I thought it would help many people understand it, but I would later find out that it wasn’t really needed in the end.
I feel like the world’s complexity is increasing so much. We can only see the user-facing side and how easy things are to use, while the underlying mechanics — the difficult parts — remain completely hidden. I often think that learning new things at a deep level is becoming much harder than before.

I gave a presentation to my team to gather feedback on my project. Since I haven’t created any automation tool in my career, I faced a lot of difficulties while workiing on this projetc. To be honest, I expected everyone to be surprised by what I had implemented, but it didn’t go that way. Instead, I received a lot of feedback pointing out my blind spots. I lost a bit of confidence, wondering why I hadn’t noticed such obvious things or practical automation points. But now, I’m working on it. I’m trying to improve and polish my ideas to make them better.

I was implementing the feedback I received from my team into the project. Afterward, I packed for my trip to Santorini. I’m so excited to go to Greece!
June 5th
I traveled to Santorini from the 5th to the 8th. I will write all about this trip in a separate post!
