Week 15 | July 6 – July 12

TABLE OF CONTENTS

July 6th

I went to a ramen restaurant that was recommended by our Japanese friends in London. I ordered mazemen, and it was so nice.

July 7th

I went to Yakiniku Like for dinner. We were amazed that London has so many branches of Japanese restaurant chains. I was so satisfied with the yakiniku. It satisfied my craving to go back to Japan for yakiniku for a while.

July 8th

I went to a Chinese restaurant that had a high rating on Google Maps and was close to our hotel. We ordered wontons and noodles. We were really surprised because the restaurant’s dough was so fresh, and the wontons were excellent.

July 9th

I went to the same Chinese restaurant, “Dough,” where I had dinner yesterday. This time I ordered biangbiang noodles, and it was really nice.

July 10th

I went to the same Chinese restaurant, “Dough,” where I had dinner yesterday and the day before yesterday.

July 11th

I got a challenge coin from the training. It’s my second coin!

I will write a separate post about how this business trip went once I pass the exam. In daily life, I hadn’t really felt like my English was improving, but during this training, I realized that working abroad in an English-speaking environment has actually helped improve my skills a lot.

July 12th

I got back to Dublin around 7 p.m. We expected to arrive home around 5 p.m., but we arrived late due to a flight delay caused by airplane maintenance.

However, it was good for me because it gave me time to start reflecting on this week’s training.

I stayed up late tonight to finish up some work.
