Week 24 | August 31 – September 5

TABLE OF CONTENTS

August 31st

I can not believe that today is the last day of August. The time is flying so fast!

September 1st

This morning, I prepared to demonstrate my project to my team members and gather feedbacks from them. It went well, and I felt relieved after the meeting.

September 2nd

I made Pepper Lunch, which was popular among YouTubers during the Covid-19 lockdown. Since the idea came to me right before dinner, I went to Tesco to buy canned corn. I followed the video recipe by Ryuji on YouTube. I realized how fast time flies becasue Ryuji changed title from “Cooking Big Brother” to “Cooking Uncle.” Since I didn’t measure the ingredients properly and just eyeballed them, it turned out a bit watery. But it was tasty!

September 3rd

I gave a short presentation today. I had mixed feelings about the experience because it’s rare for me to present online. I couldn’t tell how the audience felt about my presentation, but I hope it gave them some useful insights.

September 4th

I felt this week was quieter than usual. I feel like I relaxed a bit too much, so I hope to be more productive next week.

September 5th

I went to the Herberd Park to play tennis with my husband. I had played padel tennis with some Japanese friends 2 weeks ago, which made me realize that I can easily play tennis in Dublin just like when I did in Japan. We went to Decathlon to buy rackets and tennis balls, so we were well-prepared today. This was my first time playing tennis in Ireland! The weather was a bit cloudy, but it was fine for tennis. I have played tennis ever since I joined the soft tennis club in junior high school, so playing today reminded me of my school days in Japan. We talked about how great it would be to play tennis once a week to stay helathy.
